All of Opera in Space's permanent ensemble are experienced teachers and workshop leaders. 

 

We aim to develop important life skills such as concentration, self-esteem and imagination through drama, movement and music.

 

We have done classes on:

 

• Drama games and trust-building exercises

• Working as a team

• Characterisation and physicality

• Working with text

• Telling the story, both in song and script

• Movement, posture and body awareness

• Singing as a soloist, in a duet, trio and ensemble

• Vocal technique (singing and acting)

 

As well as getting individual attention, our goal is to learn to be part of a supportive and caring group, where we dare to take risks. 

 

Our workshops are sometimes tailored to the current or previous works.
